FAQ about Permanent Jewelry – Answers for Studios, Professionals & Beginners
Yes – with our M-Pulse micro welder, which was developed specifically for permanent jewelry, applying it is very easy. A short familiarization period is completely sufficient. If you’re unsure, we recommend training in our Academy.
We recommend the Orion M-Pulse. Thanks to True Fire technology, the right energy can be set extremely intuitively. The long cable makes working—also on anklets—much easier.
We recommend the following starter setup:
• Orion M-Pulse micro welder
• Starter set
• Arm rest
• Electrode sharpener
• Chain by the meter
• Argon gas
• Pressure regulator
We recommend using argon gas because it reduces oxidation, protects the electrode, and makes the weld point more stable. However, it is not mandatory.
Argon is an inert noble gas, colorless and odorless. It prevents unwanted reactions during welding and ensures consistent, clean weld points.
On average, our customers start with an initial order of around €3,500 net, depending on the amount of chain selected.

To ensure your chains stay bright and beautiful for as long as possible, they are specially treated and stored by us. This requires cutting them into 10-meter sections. At some point, one strand ends and a new one has to begin. For orders over 1 meter, it can therefore happen that a binding wire holds the meters together and a split occurs. We compensate for this by adding extra length to the chain by the meter.
